OAKLEY CANTEEN Rust/VR28 Black Iridium (03-542)

OAKLEY CANTEEN Rust/VR28 Black Iridium (03-542)

OAKLEY CANTEEN Sunglasses When it comes to technology, they say we're overly aggressive. And because our science and art are inseparable, designs like OAKLEY CANTEEN® are anything but restrained. That's the point. When you wear these sunglasses, you're rejecting the gutless technology of ordinary eyewear. OAKLEY CANTEEN utilizes HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) for unbeatable performance, PLUTONITE® lenses for 100% UV filtering, and patented XYZ OPTICS® for clarity at all angles of vision. The comfortably lightweight design is rendered from durable O MATTER® frame material, enhanced with dual cam hinges, and optimized with UNOBTAINIUM® components that increase grip with perspiration. It even meets all ANSI Z87.1 standards for optical precision and impact resistance. You could say OAKLEY CANTEEN makes its fashion statement by letting technology do the talking.

I use this product for: Everyday activity
I have used this product for: Over a year
My face is: Kind of Small
Excellent, but why discontinued?!
Date: June 4, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, look good

I bought these glasses a year ago and I love them. They hold onto my head very well. They are probably better for people with smaller faces like mine, as the lenses aren't as big as most Oakleys. The lens clarity is insane, I love it!

I also love the rubber grips on the back, I don't know why no other glasses in production have them now. I used them in so many situations where I thought they might fall off, but they are solid as rock on your head. High winds (coming from behind face), heavy running, you name it.

The only thing I dislike is the nose part hurts but that's only when I wear them for 5+ hours. That and the plastic hinges feel somewhat delicate, and the lenses sometimes feel a little loose, but otherwise good build.

WHY DISCONTINUED?!
