RACING JACKET Activated By Transitions® Pearl/VR50 (13-709)

RACING JACKET Activated By Transitions® Pearl/VR50 (13-709)

h2. RACING JACKET Activated By Transitions Sunglasses Oakley has partnered with Transitions Optical to create lenses that darken and lighten automatically. The patented innovations of Oakley optics are blended with photochromic technology which actively tunes the amount of light that reaches your eyes. Even better, the lenses include base colors that precisely balance light transmission and boost visual contrast to improve depth perception. This unique blend of innovations gives you the ultimate in performance and comfort while improving safety in environments ranging from overcast to bright sun. We poured adrenaline into optical armor for high-G assaults on common sense. When the world puts its crosshairs on your eye sockets, you’ll have impact protection that meets ANSI Z87.1 Industrial Standards. What does that mean for those face-smacking moments of reality? For high velocity testing, the lenses are blasted with a quarter-inch steel shot accelerated to 102 mph. For high mass testing, we target the lenses with a 17.6-ounce metal spike dropped from over four feet. It’s medieval, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. When it comes to visual impact, the patented innovations of Oakley’s HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) offer the kind of razor-sharp vision that the rest of the industry only dreams about. XYZ OPTICS® extends clarity to the peripheral edge of lens curves that optimize side protection against sun and wind. Ram-air surge ports provide defogging ventilation, and UNOBTAINIUM® components increase grip with sweat to keep the hingeless, lightweight frame securely in place. These photochromic lenses are enhanced with performance base colors, so they do not fade to clear in the absence of sunlight. See our prescription lenses for additional options in photochromic lens technology. The vented lens version meets ANSI Z87.1 Basic Impact Standards. Prescription lenses for RACING JACKET are available only in the non-vented lens version. However, the frame itself still offers venting technology. Photochromic lenses darken in response to UV light, and car windshields block most UV. Transitions is a registered trademark and Activated by Transitions is a trademark of Transitions Optical, Inc. and licensed to Oakley, Inc.

Ill start by saying, Im in a love hate relationship with the racing jacket.
I love the racing jacket because they have such a vicious look about them. When I rock up to a race with them on. Everyone knows I mean business. Deep inside I may be suffering from overtraining, but on the outside I know the racing jacket intimidates my compeditiors. During the race its coverage and agressive lines camoflage any pain I may have when responding to an attack, giving no solace to the enemy.

But love can quickly turn to hate, as it sometimes has for me.
Whether your in the heat of a sprint to the finish line or powering in a break away from the peloton. The racing jackets large frame can act as blinkers around your eyes, forcing you to reach further around to get the full view of any potential threats and the unfair advantage they gave me
can quickly level the playing field.
