“Simple yet Highly Functional”
Date: August 31, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare

This may be the “Pup” but it’s still a MONSTER in its design. Slightly less bulky looking and more streamlined than its big brother Monster Dog. The lens shape is more angular than the MD; has a shorter curved ear stem for snugger fit and narrower nose bridge which is perfect for smaller profile (ASIAN), this also elevates it a little farther to your eyes just enough to prevent your eyelashes from touching and smudging the lens. The Matte Black frame seems scratch resistant, very light weight and durable. There is practically zero light coming in from the sides. I had mine in custom, and had been enjoying its performance for almost a year now.

If you have a small to medium face, and want a pair of shades that is more functional rather than fashionable, this has got to be the “it” shades for you. This for me is the best wrap around sunglasses ever made at the moment. “Simple yet Highly Functional”

Cons: Obstructed views

This product has a terrible clearity. Very foggy, I think if there is a plastic peelable coating, I wish to get it off. They fit great but the vision is terrible.

Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare
Cons: Obstructed views

The shape of the frame is an interesting balance between the square look of Gascans and the rounder look of the Monster Dogs. They are lightweight, perfectly balanced on my face, and oh, the clarity of the Emerald lens is amazing. I live in AZ and regularly wear Ice Iridium lenses (10%) because of the bright sunlight. But believe it or not, there are times when I find them to be too dark. The Emerald lens, (13%) may be my new favorite. The seem to have the perfect balance of clarity and tint to handle the bright light. While I focused on the functionality of my new glasses my son said, "Dad, those look SICK!"

The only "con" that I've found so far is a very minimal one. Because I've worn M-Frames with Heater lenses most often, I wasn't used to the frame on the bottom of the lens blocking my view. But when I really thought about it, the only thing it blocked was the bottom of the steering wheel when I'm driving so it really doesn't count as a con. For those of you moving from framed O-Matter glasses back and forth to M-Frames, I want you to be aware that this may be a bit of a transition for you. You will overcome however because they really look good!
