High Quality Glasses
Date: August 4, 2009
Pros: Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare
Cons: nose piece leaves a bad mark

These Spikes were my first pair of Oakleys and after owning them i am a hardcore Oakley fan.

They are by far some of the best looking Oaks ever. When you wear them and look at them, they just feel like high quality glasses.

They stick to your face like glue, and never feel heavy. One complaint is when you put them on your head and bend over they get close to falling off.

They look good with any suit or shirt, and are at home on the ski hill or in a canoe.

Pros: Comfortable, No glare

They seem a little bit weak, but if you are careful and dont step sit or use it too hard then you bought/buy a very stylish pair of glasses....

Titanium Rocks
Date: June 16, 2009
Pros: Durable, Optimal clarity
Cons: Fogs up, wished it was polarized

I tested the normal Spike made from C5 alloy I think, and immediately it felt heavy, cumbersome and painful around the temples and upper ear.
Upon testing the Titanium version, it felt good, I looked awesome with it, and its super light compared to the normal C5 version. So I picked it up.
Use it for 3-5 hours, not a problem. No pain issues around temples or ears at all. Titanium is the only way to go with this model.
I look especially sharp with it in a black suit. Well worth the money.
It's not a sports model, so I use it for casual use; driving, normal everyday use, biz attire.
The only drawback is it's not polarized, I asked the shop if its possible to change the lens if I buy a polarized lens separately. They said it can be done but due to nature of the frame, when popping out the lens, it will scrape the frame and scratch the matte black colours. That's a real pity as I'm used to Polarized. Or 'hooked' would be the better term
The Spike's not getting a lot of exposure, so if you want exclusivity, get a Spike if it looks good on you.
