I have owned 10 different pairs of Oakleys over the years. My last two pairs were Monster Dogs which I really liked. Last week I ended up at a sunglass store and was not really looking to purchase anything. I tried on the Bruce Irons HIJINX glasses and was sold on them. They fit my face perfectly and had a nice tint to them. Needless to say I bought them and have been very happy. I like the fact that they are a little classier looking than the Monster Dogs. Very happy with the glasses!

Oakley Hijinx Saved My Eye

Just wanted to briefly share with you what happened to me in the mountains of Southern New Mexico.
Wearing my Hyjinx sunglasses on a bright sunday afternoon, I was on my way to a trash disposal area to get rid of some trash from our house in the mountains. In the back of the car was a long metal pipe, embeded at an angle and over the garbage I was to get rid of. After opening the rear passenger door to pull out the trash, the metal pipe was dislodged from an angle (the accident happened in less than a second) and the sharp end fell directly onto my left eye.....fortunately I was wearing my Oakley Hijinx, which saved my lrft eye from permanent injury, and for sure I would have been blinded. There is a one inch gash on the left eyepiece of the sunglass. I know that had I not been wearing these Oakleys, I would have been left permanently blinded in my left eye. I have ordered another pair.

so my girl freind works at a local oakley dealer and bought me the bruce irons for a gift. and i must say that i love them thay are supper light weight realy durable and way styalish. i live a very active life style and these shades definatly keep up with me

I use this everyday at a concrete plant. I once dropped them on a load belt that sent them through an enormous steel pulley at night. We batched a few hundred tons of concrete on that belt and I assumed they were gone. When the sun rose, I saw one of the arms on the ground, then the other and finally the frame with lenses still entact. The lenses weren't even scratched. Could not believe it. I'm sold. I'll never by anything else. Oh yeah, they look good too.

I've got a couple other pairs of Oakleys but they are both active glasses. I went to a local store to find a pair of "chill" glasses that I could wear around. Immediately, The Bruce Irons Hijinx caught my eye. They are sleek, stylish, but not as flashy as the other signature series hijinx. I liked this about them. They work well in any situation and I cannot deny this is an awesome pair....plus just for fun I went to the custom sectiom of the website and made "the same" pair and it cost about $5-10 more so this made the glasses even better. Only problem is they fog up sometimes....only the very top and that may just be me. Lightweight and durable AWESOME BUY!!!!

While I have perfect vision, my eyes don't "work together", therefore eye fatigue is an everyday problem for me. These Bruce Irons Oaks fit superbly, and they allow my eyes to ease during daylight; whether biking, kayaking or driving the Goat, these are a constant!

I actually just bought the Hijinx Bruce Irons edition today. I am very impressed with them. They fit my face very well, they are nice and light, very comfortable and even though the lenses are curved, they have no distortion, and I bought just the warm Grey, non-polarized lenses and they drastically cut down the glare as is. Although the shiny finish means lots of fingerprints, they fell off my head when I bent over, and got a tiny scuff mark on the frame, so they do scratch very easily. Other than that, I definitely recommend them. Might even buy another pair in white.
