Polarized OAKLEY NANOWIRE 4.0 Light/Tungsten Iridium (12-915)

Polarized OAKLEY NANOWIRE 4.0 Light/Tungsten Iridium (12-915)

Polarized OAKLEY NANOWIRE 4.0 Sunglasses If you get a sinking feeling that the world is disappearing before your eyes, it’s probably just hiding in a haze of glare. When light reflects off flat surfaces, the resulting glare can be 10 times brighter. That’s not a good thing if you’re driving a car, avoiding a water hazard on the back nine or playing any sport to win. Oakley polarized lenses block glare with efficiency greater than 99%, and we make them with a process that eliminates the haze and optical distortion found in ordinary polarized lenses. You won’t find satellites or lunar rovers on our product list but when we engineer a sunglasses frame for unparalleled durability and minimized weight, we earn our place in the space race. That’s because we start with the same metal used in orbital vehicles, titanium, and we craft it into alloys like this memory metal. It offers a flexible, adaptable fit while achieving a weight that seems to forget about that whole gravity thing. Matched with supple UNOBTAINIUM® components that increase grip with sweat, it’s the secret behind the all-day comfort of OAKLEY NANOWIRE 4.0. We took the unbeatable clarity and precision of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) and matched them with a permanent HYDROPHOBIC™ coating that gives water sheens the slip, repels dirt and dust, and even maintains a smudge-resistant barrier against skin oils and lotions. The back of each lens has anti-reflective coating, and the lens curvature maximizes peripheral vision with XYZ OPTICS®. IRIDIUM® lens coating balances light transmission so the rays you need are boosted while the ones you don’t are reduced. Optical performance and impact resistance meet ANSI Industrial Standards, and the PLUTONITE® lenses filter out 100% of all UV. OAKLEY NANOWIRE 4.0 comes with an Oakley Torpedo case and includes a lens cleaning cloth of the highest quality. If you need corrective eyewear, prescription lenses can be made for this frame. Minimized glare via technology that produces the best polarized lenses on the planet with greater than 99% polarization efficiency Comes standard with Oakley Hydrophobic/Oleophobic anti-smudge lens coating on all lens options Made with Oakley’s proprietary Titanium alloy: Nanowire, an Ultra lightweight, flexible “memory metal” Optimized peripheral vision and side protection of 8.75 base lens curvature Comfort and performance of Three-Point Fit that holds lenses in precise optical alignment Optical precision and performance that meets all ANSI Z87.1 standards Impact resistance that meets all ANSI Z80.3 standards UV protection of Plutonite® lens material that filters out 100% of UVA/UVB/UVC & harmful blue light up to 400nm Patented XYZ Optics® for maximum clarity at all angles of vision Glare reduction and tuned light transmission of Iridium® lens coatings Added glare reduction of backside Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating Available with Oakley prescription lenses (+2.00 through -3.00 combined power) Patented hydrophilic Unobtianium® earsocks ensure a snug, secure fit Metal Icon Accents Includes Oakley protective torpedo case Includes highest quality microfiber lens cleaning cloth

Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare

They're lightweight and super comfortable. It's easy to forget you're even wearing glasses. The lenses aren't excessively dark so I don't have to constantly remove them to see in lower light situations. Basically every handicap most sunglasses have don't seem to be a problem with these. And they totally fit my small face. Most high end shades are just too big or too wide for me but these look great! If you can't tell I kind of like my new glasses. They did seem a little expensive at first, but the second I paid rent and utilities these seemed like the best bargain I've had in a while.
