Oakley did it again: Durability has not been sacrificed to make way for out-of-the-box styling. I intercepted these glasses recently, through a friend. What had originally attracted me to the Drums was the Oakley Winter Guide a few years back. I hadn't seen glasses like the Drums before. It was like they reeled me in. I always wanted a pair, and I really liked them in Bottle Green. Unfortunately, I never had enough money or a big enough head. Alas! perseverance triumphs over all tribulations. I gave my friend a ride home about a month ago and he gave me his pair. He said,"I don't ever wear them anymore." I was overwhelmed. I had finally got my Oil Drums. They were in terrible condition; lenses scratched like crazy, soda spilled all over, it was a dismal scene. So I took them home, and got to work cleaning them. I knew he used them everyday, and used them pretty hard. But once I got them cleaned up, they were perfect. I wear them all the time now. The frames are pristine and the lenses have a few scratches, but overall, they are still radiating an atmoshpere of edgey beauty. My favorite part has to be the front, how the lenses kind of slant into the middle. I think it looks different. Anyways, my review goes like this: If you are looking for some durable, stylish, one-two punch shades, look no further. I would recomend these to anybody, both to First Time Buyers and to those Fervant Followers. These glasses are on a need-to-have basis, and you gotta hav'em. OAKLEY
