TRANSISTOR Pewter/51 (22-147)

h2. TRANSISTOR Prescription Eyewear We draw inspiration from everything around us, and it was a sports car that fueled this work of optical art. Take a look at the stems and you’ll see smooth sculptures inspired by the car body, along with an absolutely brilliant piece of engineering that echoes the suspension system. The temples are bridged by specially designed elements made of flexible titanium alloy. That’s how science and style become a single idea, and how a frame so authentically original can give you such a comfortably precise fit. To create TRANSISTOR, we melted pure titanium to cast a sculpture like nothing ever seen in the world of eyewear. It’s part of the NANOWIRE™ family, a selection of frames that optimize comfort by keeping weight down to a level that practically borders on buoyant. The nose pads are adjustable, and UNOBTAINIUM® on the stems increases grip with perspiration. Semi-rimless architecture means there’s no frame rim to block your downward view. Every detail has been optimized, right down to the self-locking hinge screws. The technology story goes on, but with a frame like this, it’s style that does the talking. Great pair of glasses
Date:September 14, 2010
Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, No glare
I needed a new pair of glasses, and these were by far the best that I found. They are light, good looking, and I never notice they are on unless I look in a mirror. Definetly recommend.

Sweet Specs
Date:August 3, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable
After shopping for several hours, these glasses jumped out at me. I am amazed at how light they are. I had to get them adjusted twice because of the curve of the arms. I recommend these be adjusted properly to the individual. They are now the most comfortable pair of glasses that I have ever owned. I especially like the way the arms grab the side of the head rather than hang over the ears (a trait common to most Oakley eyewear). I am extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend these.

Transistor
Date:May 14, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, No glare
Cons: the rounding effect is a little anoying
The fit and finish is great ,,im new to oakley rx optics ,im not use to the way the lenses make everything look round or too close, the optometrist says this is normal with oakley rx lenses and that i will get use to it,i dont know how true this is but i do hope i get use to it.
