Fuente ANTIX Sunglasses The outspoken attitude and clean lines of Oakley ANTIX are a perfect backdrop for graphics that capture a history of solidarity that defied the status quo. Look close and you’ll see “1975” — the year Oakley began its own rebellion against industry standards. The Limited Edition Fuente ANTIX comes with Tungsten IRIDIUM® Polarized optics to balance light transmission, boost visual contrast and enhance depth perception in bright sun. Glare is a hazard, especially when the solar orb is blazing the sky, so we optimized these sunglasses with premium polarization. Ordinary polarized lenses are manufactured with processes that can lead to visual haze and optical distortion but Oakley HDPolarized lenses are made a special way that eliminates those weaknesses, giving you crystal clear vision while stopping 99% of glare. Oakley ANTIX features a single continuous lens of PLUTONITE®, an optically pure material engineered for impact resistance and 100% UV filtering. It takes HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) to achieve this much lens curvature, and our POLARIC ELLIPSOID™ lens geometry maintains clarity at every angle of vision. The lens is mounted in a frame of durable, lightweight O MATTER® that comes with a comfortable Three-Point Fit, and we crafted the sculptural design with integrated hinge mechanisms that work with dual-action cams. Performance comes at a level that meets ANSI Z87.1 standards for optical clarity. As far as impact resistance goes, Antix meets ANSI Z87.1 basic standards to help protect your most valuable assets. Includes a collectors’ pin and a custom MICROCLEAR™ bag for lens cleaning and eyewear storage. Durability and all-day comfort of lightweight, stress-resistant O MATTER® frame material Precision and durability of sculpturally integrated hinge mechanisms with dual-action cams Optimized and extended peripheral view plus enhanced side coverage of POLARIC ELLIPSOID™ lens geometry Comfort and performance of Three-Point Fit that holds the lens in precise optical alignment Minimized glare via technology that produces the best polarized lenses on the planet Further glare reduction plus balanced light transmission of IRIDIUM® lens coating Optical precision and performance that meets ANSI Z87.1 standards Impact resistance that meets ANSI Z87.1 basic standards UV protection of PLUTONITE® lens material that filters out 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light up to 400nm Metal icon accents in Square O design

The BEST
Date: July 27, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare
When these glasses showed up on the cover page of the site, I was instantly sold! A previousl review said the pics didn't do these pics justice and kinda true because to see them in person, I swear I heared angles singing as I took them out of their case! Other reviews also mentioned that they get asked about there Fuentes and it cannot be more true! There isn't a festival or event that I'm at that someone doesn't say "dude, I gotta tell you, those glasses are SICK!" And the ladies are always peepin'! I treat these glasses like gold...well, cause they are like gold! LOL While these surely aren't my first pair of Oakleys (always always always polarized), these are my first pair of HD lenses and I think now I've become not only a polarized snob, but now an HD polarized snob! From the single lens design, the feel, the look, color, and overall wowness factor of these glasses, I can't wait for Oakley to come out with somthing like these.

Fuentes Antix Rocks!
Date: May 24, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, No glare
These glasses originally appeared to be a "ho-hum" when I first saw them on the website as a new limited edition. The web pictures DO NOT properly represent how nice they look at all! I first saw them at an O store and was very impressed. You cannot get a feel for the high-gloss finish until you see them in person, much shinier than a regular Antix. The graphics are really cool, and tactile, meaning you can "feel" them on the surface of the arms. These glasses fall into my "social Oakleys" category, I wear 'em around town, driving, etc., but not for active things like cycling or running. The Polarized lens is very cool, fantastic views of blue sky, clouds, ocean, etc. I prefer the "windshield" single lens look, vs. the Hijinx and it's two lenses. I was surprised to see that they are the same size as my Oil Rigs, just with rounded accents. You can also get apparel to match, the entire Cigar Box line of board shorts, t-shirts, sandals and even a cuban fedora match prefectly. I love the look of the Fuentes Antix, they're a new favorite!

Rebellion Mixed with Scientific Art
Date: May 21, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare, light, doesnt get caught in hair when worn on head Cons: so nice you almost don't want to wear them!
By adding a little Pizaz to an already phenominal frame style, Oakley has of course done it again. For those with a little rebellion in mind, these are great way to stand out. The fit is perfect. Similar to the Hijinx with an Oil Rig lense. The Tungsten Irridium Polarized lense is a breath of fresh air as well. Even on a cloudy day it feels as though the sun is shining. I have personally turned a few of my friends toward oakley with this style and lens. Bright colors, intricate details, sleek styling and a chrome "O" for some bling. Its like a Lamborghini for your eyes. If you can pull the trigger on the price tag, I would recomend these to anyone.
