Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity
Had a pair of these since 1999, still got 3 pairs X/metal Ruby/Plasma fire & plasma Ice all 1st Generation. Only one critisicm, plutolite lenses are silicon coated so tend to stratch easily & i cannot replace my 1st generation lenses like for like in terms of deepness of colour so have to be extra careful with them.But i still love the feel/fit & the style of them after all these years.

I love these sunglasses. I have had a pair of these since they were released. Unfortunately I just lost them and had to replace them.
The only hesitation I had purchasing these again was a brief debate on changing to either the Romeo frame or the new PitBoss. These are a bit heavier than the Romeo, but can be serviced (new lenses) in any Oakley store. They are a bit narrow unless you get the X-Metal XX version, so stick to the Romeo frames if you have a wide face.
I love them and will probably add another pair of glasses that are a bit lighter (Jawbone perhaps) for when I am out participating in sports.
These are the best "Every Day" pair of glasses I could ask for.

exelent sunglasses but tends to fall off my face.

these are extremely good sunglasses... unless u have a big face like mine. I where mine all the time and my friends say that i look like Scott from the X-men.... partly because a version of these sunglasses were used for all three movies... and they only needed one pair of glasses for the three movies. but if you have a large head like mine... get the X metal XX. they are so much better... but they look alittle stranger. so i say BUY THESE!!!!! (if u have a small or normal sized head). Also... dont get the Ducati version of these sunglasses... u can do the same thing using the Custom program that Oakley has.

I've had these sunglasses for 11 years now. I wear them year round. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Before I bought these, I thought sunglasses were the type of thing you had to replace every year because they broke. The fact that these still fit snugly and properly after so much time (and are still fashionable) shows the $325 (250 when I bought them) is worth it.

These are great Sunglasses. I would recommend them to anyone. Only problem is that I like them so much and they cost so much that for somethings I'm afraid to wear them because I don't want to lose or damage them. I've had mine for about 18 months and have replaced the lenes once, (Many colors to choose from) otherwise no problems. The spring in the nose piece is getting a little loose and I'm told they can be sent in to Oakley to have that fixed. (I haven't done it cuz I don't want to be without them! Anyway, I've had many pairs of Oakleys and these are my most favorite yet!
