Not what I expected...

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight
Cons: dents easily if tried...

It's a nice case, don't get me wrong...but don't expect the color to be silver metal. It looks more like a long used metal, if you like that kind of thing... It does dent easily ifd you try, so dont test it that way...

Pros: Durable, Easy to use, looks great

Awesome case. the vault is surprisingly light for being metal, good spring hinge rather than a zipper, more protection than the soft cases. looks great. The only problem I have is with fitting. I have the T-Pain Oil Rig and they fit in but the case doesn't close as I thought, for the frame to fit I have to put the lens in and have the top close on the stems. I would recommend it though because the glasses do not rattle around. - You might have this with frames similar to Oil Rig, Oil Drum, Eye Patch, and similar sized models

Very good but ...

I have three of these and I'm quite happy with it.
Why "quite" ? because they aren't large enough for all the glasses listed in the description (if they have not been sized up so far). For example, my Razor blade don't fit in and my Monster Doggle are just a bit too big so the vault is not completely closed until I press on it a little (what I suppose to not be very good for the glasses).
For the other glasses of my collection who are supposed to fit in it, the Vault is very protective and won't allow any damage to your sunglasses.
I used to always keep it with me, but since I'm wearing more often some X-Metal models that don't fit in it, I'm now using the X-metal soft Vault which I find to be more practical with the zipper.

Broke after only a year

Pros: appealing case
Cons: Not sturdy

Received as gift about a year ago and one day the springs and whatever else keeps it closed broke. Now the case won't stay closed to protect my sunglasses. Parts ended up coming out of the case when it broke. The case was never abused. Not too happy with this case.

Protect your glasses with this.

Cons: doens't fit my sunglasses perfectly

I have the Oakley Inmates, which have huge lenses and thins case fits them ok. I have to angle them in order to fit them properly or else the case will hit the top of the frame and stay propped open. I've abused it over and over and my Inmates stay safe. It has little studs on it so even though it is in a cylindrical shape, it won't roll around. Best choice for a case from Oakley if you have a larger pair of glasses.

Pros: Durable, Easy to use

The Metal Vault is perfect when you are looking for that extra protection for your treasured Oakley sunglasses. This case is great for so many of my sunglasses. When I am on vacation, I never have to worry about how my luggage is being handled because I know when I reach my destination, my Oakley's are always safe and sound.
