Perfect Aviator Style
Date: September 22, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable
Cons: slightly heavy

The Crosshairs turned out to be a perfect fit for me because I was looking for an aviator style pair of sunglasses but couldn't really pull off the big drops of traditional aviators. Also, I didn't like the light feel of other aviator sunglasses. I'll admit the Crosshairs feel slightly heavy at times, especially compared to my Half Jackets, but it's not really bothersome. I traditionally go for black/gun metal colored frames and lens but the chrome frames with VR 28 lens rock and a lot of people notice them. If you go with the VR 28 lenses I suggest you get them polarized as they are a slightly darker tint than non-polarized.

Stylish & Durable
Date: September 8, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, great style
Cons: vr28 lens

I have had these sunglasses for about 2 years, and they have held up very well. The style of these glasses couldn't be better, but I don't like to wear them in all occasions as they are a bit flashy with the polished frames and retro shape. You will be noticed in these sunglasses.

The frames fit me very well and are very comfortable. For me, the pressure points are in just the right places on these sunglasses.

I have found these sunglasses to be very durable. I have twice dropped them on a hardwood floor, and although one of the lens has popped out on each occasion, the frame was not bent and the lens was easy to reinstall. The hinges are very strong on these glasses and have not become loose or weak since I bought them. I've also jumped into water with these glasses on, completely submerging them, with no ill effects.

My only complaint is the VR28 lens. While it is great for cloudy or low-light conditions, it allows too much light in for middle-of-the-day, bright conditions. I still find myself squinting when wearing these in bright sunlight. I also don't like to wear them when on the water on while boating, as the glare from the water amplifies this problem. They are good for those who like to wear their sunglasses on cloudy days or in the evenings when the sun is going down, however.

I would recommend these but with the aforementioned caveats.

Date: July 13, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Optimal clarity, No glare
Cons: rubber socks come loose

actually i bought my first pair in Aspen, ran them over in my driveway when i returned home. Best feeling shades i have ever had, the rubber socks are a lil loose at times, but other than that they rock.

Scored another pair
Date: June 8, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, No glare

I was shopping for an aviator style sunglasses but can never find a pair that fits. Came across this pair at a local Oakley store. Tried it on and it was a great fit. Got it with polarized lense and came up to $220 before tax. Drove home with the sunglasses and felt they are slightly heavy. It's just something to get use to. It is not as heavy as my other pair of Oakleys.

This is my favorite everday pair of sunglasses. The VR28 is a great lens for all conditions. I especially like wearing these glasses on long drives, because I don't have to take them off at dusk.

Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, No glare, Stylish

The Crosshairs are like classic aviators with Timberlake-esque style. They are lightweight and are excellent driving or casual glasses. I wouldn't get too crazy with these glasses on because of the very thin frame, but they're definately a stylish pair of sunglasses.

Pros: Comfortable, No glare, style
Cons: protection, arm design

Very stylish however they could hold out a little bit more light. The arms seem to stick out a bit and become noticeable more then needed. Other then that there really nice summertime beach capable. I use them just as much as my X-metal half X.
