Durability & Not quite a fit for me
Date: July 3, 2009
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: quickly dirty with prominent brows

I think these are a handsome design and I like the way they looked on my longer oval face. For me they did not end up as a good fit. Within a few minutes of wear the oil from my eyebrows was on the top part of the lenses causing a bit of distortion and blur. This was a problem for me with my brow and had me wiping the lenses several times a day. After a month and a half of wear, I noticed one of the "O"s had fallen off one side of the frames.

I think they are a nice design for the right face, but it do have a question on the durability. I ended up returning and am going back to my XLJ Half-Jackets after replacing the lenses & rubber. For a prominent brow, the Half-Jackets frame keeps a small space between the lens and eyebrow, which prevents oil/sweat from reaching the lenses.

Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity, No glare
Cons: rubber bits come apart

I bought these because between me and my daughters I am always at the ball fields. They are comfortable enough you can forget you have them on, yet stylish enough to wear in any situation. The only complaint I have is with the rubber pieces on the arms coming apart... Not a big deal.. 10 bucks at my local Oakley dealer.

My gf has great taste!
Date: June 22, 2009
Pros: Comfortable, Optimal clarity

my gf surprised me today with a "gift" coming in the mail. needless to say, my jaw dropped when I opened the package and took out these stylin' sunglasses. I couldnt have picked out a better fit/style myself. They're thin, not too flashy, and elegant. They also have a nice feel that is slightly heavy. Great gift!

In the push to make a pair lighter and lighter, it is hard to surpass the Whisker. Taking lens cues from the A Wire, the stems have been reduced to almost nothing, and you'd be hard pressed to tell if you are still wearing them, if it weren't for the lens tint.

Despite the light weight, they do not feel fragile, and should withstand some moderate abuse. From a style perspective, they are conservative, but still have an Oakley flair.
